1st John Dos Passos International Conference, to be held from October 12 th to 14th , 2006. The venue will be Centro Cultural John Dos Passos, Villa Passos, Rua Príncipe D. Luís, nr. 3, Ponta do Sol, Madeira.
The Conference aims at the study and disclosing of the life and works of John Dos Passos, a renowned American writer of Madeiran descent. It further aims at promoting the Centre amongst scholars and National and International Universities and research institutions. Specialists in this literary field will be participating in the event.
